    Me he dado cuenta en el video que muchos de los personajes no utilizan el sujeto con el to be (I'm), utilizan solo el gerundio directamente (running), imagino que coloquialmente no es tan estricto...
    También quería preguntarte si "close up" es igual que close, si en el caso de I'm closing up shop" se podría utilizar solo "I'm closing (the) shop". Thanks a lot.

    Yes, in the video they don't use the subject because it's colloquial English.
    And concerning 'close up', it means the same as 'close'. In English, native speakers sometimes use 'up' after the verb to add emphasis, but it doesn't change the meaning. So you can say both 'I'm closing up' or 'I'm closing'.
