ORDER OF ADJECTIVES

When using more than one adjective to describe a noun place the adjective in the following order:
1. OPINION.Eg. 'An interesting book'
2. DIMENSION. Eg. 'A big apple'
3. AGE. Eg. 'A new car'
4. SHAPE. Eg. 'A round ball'
5. COLOUR. Eg. 'A blue book'
6. ORIGIN. Eg. 'Some Italian shoes'
7. MATERIAL. Eg. 'A wooden box'
Examples of nouns modified by three adjectives:
Eg. 'A wonderful old Italian clock'
Eg. 'A big square blue box'
